The Chicago SRA is a local chapter of the Socialist Rifle Association and has a separate process to join. Steps include:
- Join the national SRA by paying dues or applying for a dues waiver. After you join, you will be connected with the Chicago chapter to attend your first range day.
- Shortly after you enroll, you will receive an email about the next upcoming range day. If you need a ride, please let us know so we can try to accommodate you via carpooling.
- Established members will attempt to meet new members at the range or a nearby public location a few minutes before scheduled range time to have a conversation and to get to know your experience level before we head to the range. It can be loud and difficult to talk during range time (as you might imagine), so this helps us to get to know you better and collect your preferred contact info.
- Go to range day, be safe, and have fun!
After your first range day and vetting, we'll provide access to our platforms.
